Spring Clean Up - March/April/May
Our Spring Clean Up Services begin on or around April 1st. If winter conditions persist late in March, our start date may be effected. Generally it takes our clean up crews the entire month of April to complete all jobs contracted prior to April 1st. If you signed up after April 1st, there is no guaranty that your clean up will be accomplished before the end of April. We do give preference to clients who sign up in advance. If you are a new customer signing on with us for the first time, we do our best to get your clean up scheduled as soon as possible. Our spring clean up process includes the following:
1) Power rake/de-thatch all lawn areas. 2) Hand rake all mulch beds and cultivate and weed as needed. 3) Cut back dead perennials that may exist from the prior year. 4) Remove all sticks, branches and winter damaged brush from property* 5) Prune back winter damage on ornamental trees (up to 10’) and shrubs. 6) Sweep sand from driveways and entrances*. 7) Clean out all window wells. 8) Inspection of plant material for signs of insect or disease infestation and recommendations. 9) Inspection of the job by the account manager and submission of the signed Quality Assurance Report. *Note: We reserve the right to charge an extra fee for the removal of excess brush, limbs and sticks that are the result of damaging winter ice and snow storms. This additional clean up has not been factored into the spring clean up price and can exceed estimated hours for the job. Excess sand on driveways as a result of excessive sanding/salting services during a stormy winter may also incur additional charges. Fall Clean Up - October/November/December
Fall clean up services begin in mid-October when leaves begin to turn and drop. During the early part of the Fall, from mid October to the end of October, our lawn maintenance crews will generally keep the fallen leaves off of lawn areas, walkways, and driveways, as lawns are still actively growing. Crews are instructed to keep leaves off of the lawn so that the lawn may continue its biological processes as it prepares for winter dormancy. Fall clean up procedures generally entail one or more of the following services listed below. Every property we maintain is unique and has different amounts and types of plant material that will require different levels of clean up service at different times during the fall.
